The lamone at Marradi

The Lamone is an 88 km long river that flows through the Italian regions of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna .

It rises at the Colla di Casaglia (1190 m) in the Tuscan municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo and flows through Marradi , then it leaves the metropolitan city of Florence , where it spends 23 km, and enters the province of Ravenna , where it crosses Brisighella and Faenza . After the fields between Russi and Bagnacavallo it flows in a gravel bed north of Marina Romea, a district of Ravenna , in the Pineta di San Vitale after 88 km into the Adriatic Sea .
