history

In 1906/1907, Carl Schampel had the Serkowitz master builder Wilhelm Eisold build a "quite large, [...] lordly" country house, the plans of which came from the Breslau architect R. Hönsch.

In January 1916, the new owner, F. A. Blochwitz, applied for the construction of a "luxurious car shed ", and a portal system was also created, both designed by the architect and builder Johannes Lehnert .

The politician Wilhelm Bünger , from 1924 to 1927 Saxon Justice Minister, then Minister of Culture and from 1929 to 1930 Prime Minister of the State of Saxony, had his official residence at Hoflößnitzstraße 72 from 1926 to 1932, which he shared with his wife Doris Hertwig-Bünger , politician of the DVP and member of the Reichstag, inhabited.

After Bünger, the NSDAP politician and Saxon Interior Minister Karl Fritsch lived there .
