The regional elections in Carinthia in 1975 took place on March 2, 1975. The Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ) was able to hold first place and the absolute majority of the mandate. The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) were also able to maintain their mandate status, although all three parties lost shares of the vote when they joined the Carinthian Unity List (Koroska enotna lista, KEL) and the Reform Party (RP).

In 1975, 347,408 people were eligible to vote in the state elections, which meant an increase of 11,030 people eligible to vote. The turnout in 1975 was 88.07%, a slight increase compared to 1970 (85.96%).
