The Landwehrbäke is an approx. 2.8 km long lowland stream in the municipalities of Emstek ( district of Cloppenburg ) and Großenkneten ( district of Oldenburg ) in Lower Saxony .

The Landwehrbäke flows from its m to 45 NHN in the far east of the municipality Emstek located source (in the forest Hackstedter altitude , north of highway triangle Ahlhorner Heide ), first of all in a northerly direction, then turns on the East and passes under the A 1 . It flows north of the Kokenmühle at a height of 31 m above sea level from the left into the sand-shaped lowland stream Aue , a left tributary of the Hunte . The confluence of the Landwehrbäke with the floodplain describes the border point between the three districts of Oldenburg in the north, Vechta in the south-east and Cloppenburg in the south-west as a geographical feature .

The mouth of the Landwehrbäke is the northwesternmost area of ​​the nature reserve Bäken of the Endeler and Holzhauser Heide .
