The Langenbach , French Ruisseau le Langenbach , is a 2.6 km long left tributary of the Steinbach in Alsace .

course

The Langenbach rises at an altitude of about 287  m in the Wasgau north of Armersberg directly on the German-French border. It flows on the northeast slope of the Armersberg almost 700 m along the border, is then dammed up to the small children's pond and immediately afterwards changes to France. It now flows southwards through the Forêt domaniale de Steinbach to the left, past the Wasigenstein and then along the western foot of the Goetzenberg . On the other side, not far from the stream, are the ruins of Arnsbourg . The Langenbach now moves through a green zone, disappears into the underground north of the Rue Principale ( D3 ) and finally flows into the Steinbach east of Obersteinbach with underground pipes at a height of 236  m .
