Lanna Saunders

Lanna Saunders (* 22. December 1941 in New York City ; † 10. March 2007 in Sherman Oaks , California ) was an American actress , mainly for her role in the soap opera Days of Our Lives (on English Days of our Lives ) Gained notoriety.

life and career

Saunders began acting at the age of 13 and later became a member of the Lincoln Center Company , where she was the companion of Elia Kazan and Robert Whitehead .

On stage she met her future husband Lawrence Pressman , who was also an actor there. In 1981 she played the role of Roz Kraft in the thriller Hot Blood - Cold Blood .

She has played the role of Marie Horton in Zeit der Sehnsucht since 1979 . After she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1982 , she had to give up her participation in the series in 1985. At the age of 65, Lanna Saunders died of complications from her illness.

Her son David Pressman also became an actor, her brother Theo Saunders is a jazz pianist .
