Lars Lehmann is a German glider aerobatic pilot .
Life
Lars Lehmann started gliding in 1987. Since 2001 he has been doing competitive aerobatics.
He is married to the German glider aerobatic pilot Andrea Fenzau-Lehmann and lives in Ellwangen an der Jagst . The Lehmann couple fly at the Luftsportring Aalen-Elchingen, which is based at the Aalen-Heidenheim airfield , and have been taking part in various glider aerobatic competitions in Germany and Europe since 2001, initially with the Schleicher ASK 21 and Pilatus PC-11 AF ("B4") ), later with various MDM-1 Fox and since 2006 with a Swift S-1 .
At the beginning of 2011, the Lehmann couple formed a team of professional airshow pilots, the HB airshow team, with the vice world champion in gliding aerobatics in 1999 and long-time member of the German national team in motor aerobatics, Henry Bohlig and his wife . Lars Lehmann acts as a solo display pilot in the team.
Aviation successes
Lars Lehmann received the bronze (2001), silver (2004) and gold badges for glider aerobatics from the German Aero Club (DAeC), where he obtained the gold badge at the 2008 European Championships in Radom (Poland).
