Lasse Petersdotter (born May 8, 1990 in Preetz ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life

Petersdotter was born in Preetz ( Plön district ), but spent his childhood and youth in Kiel except for the first three years . From 2001 to 2008 he attended the Goethe-Realschule and then the Regional Vocational Training Center (RBZ) Economy in Kiel-Ravensberg , where he graduated from high school in 2011 . He studied political science and Islamic studies at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel , graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2016.

Petersdotter was involved in the Green Youth and was its state chairman in Schleswig-Holstein from 2013 to 2016 . At the University of Kiel, he volunteered in the general student committee from 2011 to 2015 and was its chairman from 2013 to 2014. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Board of Young European Federalists . In the state parliamentary group of the Greens in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament , he took on tasks in the field of network policy as well as press and public relations work . In 2015 he was elected to the party council of B90 / Die Grünen Schleswig-Holstein .

In 2017 he ran for the state parliament and was elected to the state parliament on May 7, 2017 . He received his mandate from his party's national list . His areas of responsibility include finance and budget, higher education, political and adult education, the media and strategies against right-wing extremism . Since 2019 he has been deputy chairman of the parliamentary group B90 / The Greens in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament.
