The Lathan is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire regions. It rises in the municipality of Ambillou and supplies the water castle Champchevrier with water in its upper reaches . It then flows generally in a westerly direction and flows into the Authion as a right tributary after 58 kilometers below Longué-Jumelles . In its lower reaches, the Lathan crosses the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park . In its entire course it touches the departments of Indre-et-Loire and Maine-et-Loire .
