The Laubwand , also Lawand , is a 2312 meter high summit in the Steinerne Meer , about 200 m north-northeast of the Mauerscharte. The summit is on the border between Austria and Germany . The appearance of the foliage wall is characterized from the west by its grassy summit plateau, to the east steep rock faces drop towards the Blühnbachtal . The leaf wall is considered a beautiful mountain with a view, as you can overlook the eastern part of the Stone Sea from here.

Routes to the summit

  • from the Wasseralm over the mountain Neuhütter without a path, but easy to reach
  • from the Mauerscharte over steep crags ( difficulty level I )
  • from the northeastern Blühnbachtörl (difficulty level I)
