Laura Brosius (born January 8, 1990 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player and current trainer and obstacle race runner .
Career
societies
Brosius began her career at the age of 10 with SG Bornim . In 2002 she moved to the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam . With the B-Juniors she became German champion in 2004, 2005 and 2006. After her youth she joined the second team in the 2nd Bundesliga, where she became a regular player. In summer 2007 she was promoted to the first team and fought for a regular place. During the following two seasons she was mainly used in the second team. In summer 2010 she therefore moved to FF USV Jena, where she played for five years. After a lengthy series of injuries that made her play only seven games in the 2014/15 season, she ended her active career in the summer of 2015.
National team
At the 2007 World Schools Championship in Chile , she and her team took second place. In the same year she was appointed to a screening course for the U-19 national team.
As a trainer
After her career ended in the summer of 2015, Brosius became assistant trainer of the U-17s at FF USV Jena.
Obstacle Race
In 2015 she became the third woman and in 2016 the second woman in Gettingtough - The Race . In 2017 she became the first woman in the Tough Guy Race . In 2018 and 2019 she became the first woman to reach the finish of Gettingtough - The Race . In 2019 she became first in the Braveheartbattle and fifth woman in XLETIX Elite Heat.
Personal
Brosius graduated from the Sports School "Friedrich Ludwig Jahn" in Potsdam , the High School . Then she completed an apprenticeship as a real estate agent in Jena . So far, she has participated in various marathons . She is the sister of Hagen Brosius .
