Laura Cuenca Serrano

Laura Cuenca Serrano (born September 12, 1987 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a German- Spanish actress and singer .

Life

Laura Cuenca Serrano grew up with two siblings in Bielefeld, attended schools in Ireland and New Zealand and graduated from the Ceciliengymnasium Bielefeld . During her school days, she was a participant in the Werner Gehring Foundation's gifted support program.

After graduating from high school, she traveled the world as a model and author and became a cover model for numerous companies and magazines. In 2009 she began studying German with a specialization in film studies at the LMU Munich . After completing her Bachelor of Arts in California and Germany, she completed her acting training.

From 2014 to 2015 she was a singer in the singer-songwriter band “Ventura Boulevard”, which consisted of the actors Andreas Thiele , Benedikt Blaskovic and Laura Cuenca Serrano. From 2015 to 2017 she was a singer in the five-piece jazz combo "Jazzbox". Since 2018 she has been playing together with Buck Roger with her band "Saltyskin" and is writing on her debut album.

In addition to various theater and film roles, she played her first leading role in cinema in 2015 in Philipp Pamers Im Nesseltal . In 2016 she played a supporting role alongside Rebecca Forsythe in the award-winning film Replace by Norbert Keil .

In 2016 she created a cabaret alter-ego with Imke-Karlotta with a stage program and YouTube channel. In 2016 she played the lead role Helena in the comedy Eine Sommernacht , directed by Leni Brem, and celebrated success at the Munich Hofspielhaus. Further engagements followed. In 2016 she produced the short film “Spielchen” together with Ferdinand Schmidt-Modrow , in which she also played one of the two main roles.

In 2019 her band "Saltyskin" won a newcomer radio competition from Bayern 2.

Laura Cuenca Serrano lives in Munich.
