Laura Orgué (born September 11, 1986 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish cross-country skier .

Career

Orgué ran her first World Cup race in December 2006 in Cogne , which she finished classically with 68th place over 10 km. In February 2008 she won in Otepää with the 30th place over 10 km classic her first World Cup point. In January 2014 she achieved her best World Cup result to date with 17th place in the 10 km mass start race. At the U23 World Championships in Praz de Lys in 2009 , she won bronze over 10 km freestyle. Orgue took second place in the overall ranking of the 2008/09 Alpine Cup . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she reached 28th place in the 30 km mass start race. Her best result at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver was 27th in the 15 km skiathlon race . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she reached 38th place over 10 km classic and in the 30 km mass start race. Her best result at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme was 29th place. At the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi , she was tenth in the 30 km mass start race. In the 2014/15 season she reached 62nd place at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer and 28th place at the 2015 Tour de Ski . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2015 in Falun , she came in 45th place in the 10 km freestyle, 36th place in the skiathlon and 31st place in the 30 km mass start race.
