Alexandra Gentara

Alexandra Gentara (born April 29, 1974 in Sauerland ) is a German entrepreneur, publisher, editor and author. She published erotic novels under various pseudonyms .

After studying German and English at the Ruhr University Bochum, Alexandra Gentara worked as a product manager in the mobile communications industry. On her website, The Erotic Secretariat , she published her first short stories in 1999 and added an online shop to the website in 2006 with “Lingerie and Co.”. In 2007 she started her own business and opened the Femme Fatale in Essen - Rüttenscheid , an erotic shop "by women for women".

Under different pseudonyms she published several books in different publishers, most of them in her publishing house Das Erotic Secretariat, founded in 2011 . Her e-book bestseller Hazardous Temptation sold over 80,000 copies within a few months, was published as a Rowohlt paperback in July 2013 and reached number 44 on the Spiegel paperback bestseller list.

Alexandra Gentara lives in Mülheim an der Ruhr and has had a daughter since 2003.
