Lautenbach is a district of Gernsbach in the Rastatt district , Baden-Württemberg .

Geographical location

Lautenbach is located about 280-370 meters above sea ​​level southeast of Gernsbach in a side valley of the Murgtal in the northern Black Forest . A stream of the same name flows through the valley, which rises above the village on the western slope of the 908 m high Teufelsmühle mountain and after 4.2 km flows over Lautenbach and Schünsch into the Murg. In the south, Lautenbach is dominated by the protected Lautenfelsen made of Forbach granite.

history

Lautenbach was first mentioned as Lutembach in 1339/1340 . On January 1, 1973 it was incorporated into the city of Gernsbach.
