Lawrence Gordon

Lawrence Gordon (born March 25, 1936 in Yazoo City , Mississippi ) is an American film producer .

Live and act

Before his career, he studied at Tulane University in New Orleans . From 1984 to 1986 he was the president of the 20th Century Fox film studio . The television series Matt Houston , broadcast from 1982 to 1985, was developed by him.

One of the most famous films he has produced is Die Hard .

His brother Charles Gordon is also active as a producer in the film business, together they ran the production company "Largo Entertainment" until the late 1990s.

In 1990 he and his brother were nominated for an Oscar for the film Field of Dreams . In the same year he received a nomination for the Golden Raspberry .
