Le Gros-Theil is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Le Bosc du Theil 1,038 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). The inhabitants are called Gros-Theillais . The administrative seat of the municipality of Le Bosc du Theil is located in Le Gros-Theil.

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Le Gros-Theil and Saint-Nicolas-du-Bosc were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Le Bosc du Theil. The municipality of Le Gros-Theil belonged to the Arrondissement Bernay , the canton Le Neubourg (until 2015 Amfreville-la-Campagne ) and the local authority Roumois Seine .

Le Gros-Theil is about 30 kilometers southwest of Rouen .
