Lea Schmidbauer (born December 20, 1971 in Starnberg ) is a German author . She writes screenplays for film and television as well as books for young people.

Life

Lea Schmidbauer studied at the University of Television and Film in Munich , where she graduated in 2004 with the short film comedy Reality Check , which was co-produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk and arte . She became known as the author of the movie comedy Groupies Don't Stay for Breakfast (2010) and the Ostwind movies (2012-2020).
