Ostwind - Aris Arrival is a German feature film from 2019 by Theresa von Eltz . The film is the continuation of the films Ostwind (2013), Ostwind 2 (2015) and Ostwind - Aufbruch nach Ora (2017). The premiere took place on February 17, 2019 in Munich. The cinema release was on February 28, 2019.

Grandmother Maria, Sam and the riding instructor Kaan try together to keep Gut Kaltenbach running, which is in financial difficulties. The ambitious Isabell supports her in this, although she secretly pursues her own goals.

The impulsive Ari comes to therapy in Kaltenbach, where she develops a special relationship with Ostwind, the eponymous horse of the film series, and she also makes friends in dreams with Mika, who is in a coma. Ari saves the estate and protects Ostwind from the ruthless horse trainer Thordur Thorvaldson. Finally Mika wakes up from the coma and the summer party can take place.

The shooting took place from July 3 to August 31, 2018 in northern Hesse and Andalusia . The film was produced by SamFilm , in coproduction with Alias Entertainment and Constantin Film .

The German Film and Media Assessment FBW in Wiesbaden awarded the film the rating particularly valuable.
