Lee Anthony Piché

Lee Anthony Piché (born May 8, 1958 in Minneapolis ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Saint Paul and Minneapolis .

Life

Lee Anthony Piché was ordained a priest on May 26, 1984 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 27, 2009 auxiliary bishop in Saint Paul and Minneapolis and titular bishop of Tamata . The episcopal ordination donated him the Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, John Clayton Nienstedt , on June 29 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Harry J. Flynn , Old Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and John Marvin LeVoir , Bishop of New Ulm .

After the archbishopric was considering bankruptcy in November 2014 to meet claims for damages from abuse victims , Archbishop John Clayton Nienstedt and Auxiliary Bishop Piché, who was also vicar general , offered their resignation, which Pope Francis accepted on June 15, 2015.
