Kookmin Bank FC time (2007-2012)

He won the Korea National League Cup in 2009 alongside Lee Uh-hyeong . In 2011 and 2012 he was able to celebrate the runner-up. After the club was dissolved, he went to the second division FC Anyang together with Lee Uh-hyeong .

FC Anyang period (2013-2015)

Lee Yeong-min was also assistant coach at FC Anyang. However, no great successes could be achieved there either. After his companion Lee Uh-hyeong was dismissed due to poor athletic performance, he took over the interim coaching post. Under his leadership, the club fought its way up from last place in the table back up to 6th place in the table. Because of his performance, he was promoted to coach. In his first season as a coach, however, he could no longer build on his successes of the previous season. His club reached a disappointing 9th place in the table. Things went better for him in the cup. In its first round of the cup they met third division Gimhae City FC , which they defeated 3-2. In the subsequent cup round, however, they were defeated by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 1: 4. On November 22, 2016, he switched to the newly founded Ansan Greeners FC franchise and became an assistant coach.

Ansan Greeners FC time (since 2016)

Yeong-min became an assistant coach under Lee Heung-sil . In their first season they could not celebrate any successes in the league. At the end of the season you only finished ninth. In the cup they were eliminated surprisingly early. In their first round of the cup, they faced third division side Gangneung City FC , which they lost 1-0 on penalties. In the following cup competition, they met Suwon University in their first round , which they beat 7-0 at home. In the following round they met the league rivals Asan Mugunghwa FC . The game was lost 0-1 in extra time. Things went well in the league for a long time. Until the middle of the season, the club was in a top position in the table. But after the club lost many games in a series of defeats, Lee Heung-sil was given leave of absence as a coach and Lee Yeong-min was appointed interim coach. However, he could not stop the negative trend either, so that he was dismissed as interim coach on September 30 and was again assistant coach under Im Wan-seob . He finished the season in 9th place with the club.
