Leif Erickson
Leif Erickson ; actually William Wycliffe Anderson (born October 27, 1911 in Alameda , California , † January 29, 1986 in Pensacola , Florida ) was an American actor .
Life
Leif Erickson worked in addition to his numerous appearances in television series, in over 80 feature and television films. In Germany he was best known as "Big John" in the series High Chaparral . Erickson was also called Glenn Erickson; Glen Erickson; Ran Erickson; Glenn Erikson and Leif Erikson listed.
Leif Erickson died of cancer in Pensacola , Florida on January 29, 1986 at the age of 74.
Erickson was married to actress Frances Farmer from 1936 to 1942 .
