Leo Laba Ladjar OFM (born November 4, 1943 in Bauraja , Indonesia ) is Bishop of Jayapura .

Life

Leo Laba Ladjar entered the religious order of the Franciscans and received on 29 June 1975, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 6 December 1993 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Bencenna and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Jayapura . The Bishop of Jayapura, Herman Ferdinandus Maria Münninghoff OFM, donated him episcopal ordination on April 10, 1994 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Merauke , Jacobus Duivenvoorde MSC , and the Bishop of Agats , Alphonsus Augustus Sowada OSC , and the Bishop of Manokwari-Sorong , Francis Xavier Sudartanta Hadisumarta OCarm . On August 29, 1997, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Jayapura.
