Leonard Myles-Mills

Leonard Myles-Mills (born September 5, 1973 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter .

In 1998 he won bronze over 100 m at the African Athletics Championships in Dakar , came third in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Athletics Cup in Johannesburg with the African team and was at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur disqualified in the final with the Ghanaian 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 1999 he reached the semi-finals over 100 m at the World Athletics Championships in Seville and won the Africa Games in Johannesburg .

At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 he reached the semi-finals over 100 m and was eliminated in the Ghanaian 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.

In 2003 he retired from the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham over 60 m in the preliminary run. At the World Cup in Paris / Saint-Denis he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m, and at the African Games in Abuja he won bronze over 100 m and gold in the 4 x 100 m relay.

In 2004 he failed at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Budapest over 60 m in the first round. At the Olympic Games in Athens , he advanced over 100 m into the semi-finals and was eliminated in the preliminary round with the Ghanaian 4-by-100-meter relay.

At the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 , he did not finish in the final of the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Ghanaian team.

Starting for Brigham Young University , he became NCAA champions in 1998 and 1999 .
