Leonardo Yuzon Medroso

Leonardo Yuzon Medroso (born November 6, 1938 in Ormoc City , Leyte Province , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Tagbilaran .

Life

Leonardo Yuzon Medroso was ordained a priest for the diocese of Palo on March 30, 1963 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Borongan on February 18, 1986 . The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines , Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on March 17, 1987; Co- consecrators were the emeritus bishops of Borongan, Godofredo Pedernal Pisig and Nestor Celestial Cariño .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Tagbilaran on October 17, 2006, and was instituted on December 14 of the same year.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on October 13, 2016.
