Leonhard "Harti" Wild (born November 2, 1979 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who was active for many years in the German ice hockey league and 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga .
Career
Wild began his career in the 1997/98 season at SC Riessersee in the 1st League South. He remained loyal to Garmisch until the 1999/00 season , when he moved to the German ice hockey league at the beginning of the 2000/01 season for Moskitos Essen . Wild was first under contract with the Moskitos in the following season , but switched back to SC Riessersee during the season.
For the 2002/03 season , Wild went to the Cologne Sharks in the DEL, where he was also under contract in the 2003/04 season . In the 2002/03 season he also had a job at EC Ulm / Neu-Ulm and in the 2003/04 season he was four times for the mosquito food in the league in the gate. A year later, Wild signed a contract for the 2004/05 season with Moskitos Essen and also had two assignments with the Hamburg Freezers in the DEL.
Between 2005 and 2008 , Wild was under contract with EHC Munich in the 2nd Bundesliga and formed a goalkeeper duo with Jochen Vollmer . For the 2008/09 season he moved to the Augsburg Panthers in the DEL, where he came to two missions as a reserve goalkeeper. Due to knee problems, however, he had to take a year off before he was back for his home club, the SC Riessersee in the major league, between the posts for the 2010/11 season . After initial starting problems and many critics, he found his best form and was instrumental in the success of SC Riessersee. The whole thing was crowned with winning the league championship and the resulting athletic promotion to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga .
As a result, it was initially unclear whether Wild would guard the gate for another season at SC Riessersee, as he successfully runs a coffee roasting plant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and no longer wanted to work as a full professional. On June 29, 2011, the club announced that Wild would be between the posts in the 2011/12 season , but no longer as a full-time employee, but in alternation with Daniel Huber . In August 2011, Wild, Josef Staltmayr , Florian Vollmer , and Tim Regan were appointed interim coaches after Marcus Bleicher resigned from his position with immediate effect and no new head coach has yet been signed. Thus, assistant trainer Andreas Raubal was also supported in his new role as assistant trainer. After relegation at the end of the 2011/12 season, Wild decided to end his career to put his main focus back on his two companies and the family.
