Leonidas Stergiou (born March 3, 2002 in Wattwil ) is a Swiss football player of Greek descent. He plays the position of central defender for FC St. Gallen .

Career

Stergiou was born in Wattwil in Toggenburg, Switzerland. Stergiou had spent his entire life in his native country and began playing for FC St. Gallen in 2015, where he moved up to the first team. Stergiou made his debut for the professional team of FC St. Gallen on February 6, 2019 in a 3-1 home win against FC Zurich in the Super League .

He is the current youth international for Switzerland.
