Lesław Ćmikiewicz (born August 25, 1948 in Wrocław , Poland ) is a former Polish football player and coach .

The midfielder played most of his career with Śląsk Wrocław and Legia Warszawa . In 1980 he moved to the USA . Here he played for the clubs New York Arrow and Chicago Horizon . He made a total of 57 internationals for Poland . After his active career, Ćmikiewicz worked as an assistant coach at Legia Warszawa, then as head coach at Motor Lublin , Stal Rzeszów , Górnik Zabrze , Hutnik Krakau , Pogoń Stettin , Gwardia Warsaw and RKS Radomsko . From 1989 to 1993 he was assistant coach of the Polish national team under Andrzej Strejlau . From 1999 to 2001 he was the coach of the Polish U-21 national team. In 2003 and 2004 he was assistant coach to Amica Wronki . He is currently an assistant coach at Cracovia Kraków .
