Krzysztof Pawlak (born February 12, 1958 in Trzebiechów , Poland ) is a former Polish football player and football coach.
Club career as a player
Krzysztof Pawlak began his career as a defender in Poland , where he played for the clubs Warta Posen and the larger and better-known city rivals Lech Posen .
In 1988 he moved to Belgium for KSC Lokeren . Here he could not prevail and moved to Trelleborgs FF in Sweden that same year . Here he played from 1988 to 1992. In 1992 he returned to Poland to Warta Posen , where he played for two more seasons and in 1994 ended his active career.
National team career as a player
Krzysztof Pawlak played 31 senior international matches for the Polish national football team and took part in the 1986 World Cup.
Career as a coach
Pawlak worked as a trainer for Warta Posen (1993–1994, assistant trainer), Sokół Pniewy (then billionaire Pniewy, 1994–95), Warta Posen (1995), GKS Bełchatów (1995–96, 1998–99), Lech Posen ( 1997–98), Górnik Konin (1999–00), Polonia Środa Wielkopolska (2000–02), Biały Orzeł Koźmin Wielkopolski (2003), Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała (2003–04), Promień Żary (2004–05), Kania Gostyń (2006), Mieszko Gniezno (2006), Arka Nowa Sól (2009-10) and GKP Gorzów Wielkopolski (2010-11). Since July 2011, Pawlak has been the coach of the second division Flota Świnoujście .
From 1996 to 1997 he was the assistant coach of the Polish national soccer team under Antoni Piechniczek and, after Piechniczek's resignation, also looked after them in a World Cup qualifier against Georgia (4-1 for Poland ).
