Leslie Bevis

Leslie Bevis (born February 13, 1957 in Washington, DC ) is an American actress .

Life

Bevis was at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London trained and began her acting career in 1983. A year later she had her feature film debut in the Steve Martin - Comedy A Single Hazzard . In the 1980s she received guest roles in various successful series formats such as Simon & Simon , V - The Extraterrestrial Visitors Are Coming and MacGyver . She also played recurring roles in Harry's Wondrous Criminal Court , Falcon Crest and Dallas . At the side of James Caan , she had a bigger supporting role than Cassandra in the science fiction film Alien Nation in 1988 . Part of her appearance as Commanderette Zircon in Mel Brooks ' Spaceballs later fell victim to the scissors in the British DVD release of the film. In 1993 she played her only female lead in the B-movie Fire Line - The Big Chance . In addition to other guest roles, she was in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine between 1993 and 1996 in the recurring role of Rionoj . She last played the role of Ruth Anne Perkins in 22 episodes from 1998 to 1999 in the soap opera Shadow of Passion .

Then Bevis withdrew from the acting business and started working as a dog groom.
