Leslie Rogers Tomlinson (born August 27, 1943 in Mildura ) is an Australian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Sandhurst .

Life

He was ordained a priest on August 18, 1972 by the Bishop of Ballarat , Ronald Austin Mulkearns .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 5, 2009 titular bishop of Sinitis and auxiliary bishop in Melbourne . The Archbishop of Melbourne, Denis James Hart , donated him episcopal ordination on June 17 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Ronald Austin Mulkearns, Former Bishop of Ballarat, and Archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto , Apostolic Nuncio in Australia.

He was named Bishop of Sandhurst on February 3, 2012, and inducted into the office on March 1 of the same year. Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 23, 2019.
