The 1992/93 season was the second season of the Latvian Ice Hockey League , the highest Latvian ice hockey league . Champion became for the first time in the club's history ever Pārdaugava Riga .
mode
In the main round, the 15 teams were divided into two groups, with group A with seven teams having one participant less than group B with eight teams. In the main round, each team played a game against each group opponent, with the four best-placed teams in each group qualifying for the final round, in which the champions were played. The remaining seven teams contested a placement round. The results from the main round between teams that qualified for the same group have been carried over. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
