Levelland is the county capital and seat of the county seat of Hockley County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located on US Highway 385 and Highway 140 in northwest Texas, in the southwestern part of the Texas Panhandle , is about 63 km to the west from New Mexico and has a total area of ​​25.7 km², without any significant water surface.
