Lewis James Pullman (born January 29, 1993 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Lewis Pullman was born the son of actor Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz Pullman. The two married in 1987 and had two sons and a daughter.

Pullman worked in short films from 2013. In 2017 he made his debut in a feature-length film in The Ballad of Lefty Brown by Jared Moshe with a small role at the side of his father Bill Pullman. He can be seen as young Samuel in Vendetta - All That Remains He Was Revenge , in the Willy Vlautin film Lean on Pete as Dallas and in Battle of the Sexes as Steve Carell's son Larry Riggs.

In 2018 he played the role of Miles Miller in Bad Times at the El Royale alongside Jeff Bridges and Cynthia Erivo . For his portrayal he was nominated for a Saturn Award 2019 in the category Best Supporting Actor. He was also in the slasher film The Strangers: Sacrifice Night to be seen alongside Christina Hendricks , Martin Henderson and Bailee Madison as Luke. In August 2018, it was announced that he would play a role in Top Gun: Maverick , the sequel to Top Gun - You Don't Fear Death or the Devil .

In the 2019 novel adaptation of Catch-22 starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie , he played the role of Major Major Major Major. For the thriller Them That Follow he was awarded as part of the ensemble at the Newport Beach Film Festival 2019 in the category Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking .
