Li Zhengyu ( Chinese  李正育 , Pinyin Lǐ Zhèngyù ; born August 29, 1989 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who was under contract with China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey until 2017 .

Career

Li Zhengyu began his career as an ice hockey player in the Qiqihar amateur measure . He first played in a higher class with China Dragon in the 2010/11 season of the Asia League Ice Hockey . In the following years he played again in Qiqihar for two years. After becoming Chinese champions with the team in 2013, he returned to China Dragon.

International

For China , Li Zhengyu took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division III 2007 and the U20 World Championships in Division III 2007 and Division II in 2008 and 2009 .

In the senior division, the striker was in China's squad at the Division II World Championships in 2013 , 2014 , when he was voted best player on his team, in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and the Winter Asian Games in 2011 and 2017 .
