Lil 'Keke
Lil 'Keke (born March 29, 1976 in Houston , Texas ; real name Marcus Lakee Edwards ) is an American rapper , member of the Houston-based Swisha House label and also part of the Screwed Up Click, an underground rap group.
biography
Lil 'Keke grew up in Hershelwood, just south of Houston , Texas . In 1993 he freestylte already together with Fat Pat frequently on by DJ Screw produced Screwtapes or Gray Tapes . This continuity resulted in the Screwed Up Click , which continued to grow until DJ Screw's death and became known beyond Texas. The single Southside from his debut album Don't Mess with Texas , along with accompanying dance, became a national success. After DJ Screw's death, Lil 'Keke signed a record deal with the label "TF-Records / Swishahouse". In 2006 his single Chunk Up the Deuce with UGK and Paul Wall was successful.
Lil 'Keke is considered a representative of the Houston underground rapeseed. He continues to publish mix tapes and albums to this day . He was also represented on DJ Screws on many screw tapes until his death . After that and until today his flows and songs appear on Swishahouse Mixtapes.
