Lilli Schoenborn

Lilli Schoenborn (real name: Lili Anna Maria Schoenborn , also: Lili Schönborn-Anspach , Lilly Schönborn ) (born March 31, 1898 in Berlin , † May 4, 1987 in Berlin) was a German actress and voice actress who appeared in over 50 German Contributed feature and television films.

Life

The daughter of the Judicial Councilor Rudolf Schoenborn and his wife Alice geb. Schroeter took acting lessons from Ludwig Hartau and Julius Bab . From 1918 to 1924 she was engaged at the Volksbühne Berlin , from 1924 to 1927 at the Stadttheater Eisenach , 1928 to 1929 at the Stadttheater Riga , from 1929 to 1930 again at the Volksbühne Berlin, from 1930 to 1931 at the Piscator stage .

From 1924 she appeared in silent films and subscribed to the portrayal of robust, proletarian-looking Berlin women. It also corresponded to this type in sound film productions and in the post-war period. In the last few decades she mainly worked for television and increasingly turned to the Berlin theaters.

1950–1983 she worked as a speaker in over 40 radio plays.

Lili Schoenborn was married to the playwright Harry Anspach.
