The Lilienfelder Cantorei is a Berlin-based chamber choir with a supraregional sphere of activity. The artistic director has been Klaus-Martin Bresgott since the ensemble was founded in 1988 .

The musical focus of the Lilienfelder Cantorei is early music around Heinrich Schütz and Johann Hermann Schein as well as primarily the a cappella works of the late 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Since 1998 there have been regular premieres - u. a. with works by Harald Genzmer , Benjamin Rinnert, Martin Doernberg and Frank Schwemmer . A conceptually anchored selection of texts with a focus on the psalms and poetry of the 19th and 20th centuries is essential for the programmatic orientation.

The Lilienfelder Cantorei makes regular guest appearances in Franconia, Bavaria, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg, Brandenburg, Hamburg and Bremen. Concerts abroad led to Denmark, Holland and France as well as repeatedly to Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy and Switzerland.

The Lilienfelder Cantorei is a member of the Association of German Concert Choirs (VDKC).
