Lilly Becker
Sharlely "Lilly" Becker (born June 25, 1976 in Rotterdam as Sharlely Kerssenberg ) is a Dutch model . From 2009 to 2018 she was married to the former tennis player Boris Becker .
Life
Her father was Swiss and her mother was from Surinam . The parents were killed in a car accident in 1979 when Kerssenberg was three years old. As an orphan , she grew up with her sister, first with her grandparents, later with her uncle and aunt in Amsterdam , and attended secondary school . An Italian model scout turned down her application in 1992. She later worked as a croupier in London and Tel Aviv for a few months . In 1999 she moved to Miami Beach and initially worked as a bartender and hostess . In 2003 she met the US media entrepreneur and lawyer Michael R. Bermann, with whom she was married from 2003 to 2008.
Kerssenberg, now working as a model , met Boris Becker during the separation phase of their marriage when he and his son were holding a birthday party in a pizzeria in Miami Beach in September 2005. She lived there in an apartment house in which Becker had also lived for a year. In April 2007 she moved to Becker's apartment on Lake Zurich . Then she moved to an apartment on Chelsea's King’s Road . After a two-month liaison with Alessandra Meyer-Wölden , Becker returned to Kerssenberg in August 2008. He made her in February 2009 in a Wetten, dass ..? -Send a marriage proposal ; the wedding took place on June 12, 2009 in St. Moritz . A son was born on February 10, 2010. The couple separated in May 2018.
