Erich Klann

Erich Klann (born April 14, 1987 in the Kazakh SSR , Soviet Union ) is a German tournament dancer , dance trainer and choreographer .

Life

Klann came to Germany with his family as a Soviet German repatriate when he was three years old . He started dancing at the age of nine . Since the 1990s he has been an amateur at dance tournaments. Initially he danced Latin , and since the late 1990s he has also danced standard .

After completing secondary school, Klann went to Romania , where he became a three-time Romanian master in the areas of standard and Latin dance. Later he made his college entrance qualification with a focus on economics. Klann has been living in Germany again since 2008 and most recently danced in the S-class standard and latin for the dance club TSC Blau-Weiß in TV 1875 Paderborn e. V, where he also worked as a trainer. Klann was a member of the federal Latin squad.

Klann is in a relationship with the dancer Oana Nechiti , with whom he has had a son since 2012. The couple runs a dance school in the Elsen district of Paderborn . Klann's brother is also a tournament dancer and trainer.

Let's dance

Erich Klann has been participating in the RTL dance show Let's Dance since the fourth season . When he first appeared in 2011, he danced with Kristina Bach , who stopped playing after the fourth show due to a slipped disc . He won the fifth season with Magdalena Brzeska . In the sixth season , Klann and Simone Ballack reached fourth place. At the 2013 Christmas Special, Klann repeated the 2012 victory with Magdalena Brzeska.

In 2014, in the seventh season, Klann left with dance partner Lilly Becker in the sixth show, and a year later with Cora Schumacher in the second show. He won the ninth season with Victoria Swarovski . In 2017 he was Anni Friesinger-Postma's dance partner . In 2018 he danced with Judith Williams , in 2019 with Sabrina Mockenhaupt . In 2020 he danced with Ilka Bessin .
