Lin Yue , Chinese  林 跃 , Pinyin Lín Yuè (born July 24, 1991 in Chaozhou , Guangdong ) is a Chinese diver .

Lin has been one of the world's top diving players since 2005. At the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne , the Beijing man and his partner Huo Liang won the gold medal in synchronized jumping from the tower. He also won bronze in singles. As part of the Grand Prix series, he has won over 20 competitions so far, including numerous individual competitions. In the World Series, he won four events - one of which was an individual competition - three times second and one third. He celebrated his greatest success with his partner Huo Liang by winning the gold medal in tower synchronized jumping at the 2008 Summer Olympics in his native Beijing. At the following World Championships in Rome in July 2009, both also won the high diving competition.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , Lin managed to repeat his Olympic victory in synchronized jumping from the tower with Chen Aisen .
