The Lincoln College (full name: The College of the Blessed Mary and All Saints, Lincoln ) is a college of the University of Oxford . The Bishop of Lincoln founded it in 1427 for the theological education of students.
It has hardly changed over the centuries due to a lack of funds. The Lincoln College Library is located in All Saints Church, Oxford , which defines Oxford's famous skyline with its tower and distinctive rotunda.
Lincoln's sister college in Cambridge is Downing .
