Linda Sheskey
Linda Sheskey (born Detlefsen; born October 18, 1962 ) is a former American middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1,500 meter distance .
In 1987 she won the Pan American Games in Indianapolis and was tenth at the World Athletics Championships in Rome .
At the Pan American Games in Havana in 1991 , she was eighth.
In 1986 she was US champion in the 1500 m and in 1989 US indoor champion in the mile run . In 1984 she won the NCAA indoor title over 1500 m for the University of Georgia .
