Lindome is part of the Gothenburg crime scene in the Swedish province of Västra Götalands län . The place is located in the historical province (landskap) Halland about 15 kilometers south-southeast of the center of Gothenburg and belongs to the municipality of Mölndal .

Before 2015, Lindome was an independent crime scene with a last 11,037 inhabitants (2010).
