The Europaväg 6 ( Swedish for 'European route 6') is a section of the European route 6 ( Trelleborg - Kirkenes ) a motorway route in Sweden . It runs along the west coast of the country and connects, among other things, the major cities of Gothenburg and Malmö .
history
The Döserygg burial ground near the village of Södra Håslöv was discovered during the route investigation .
After persistently heavy rain, a landslide occurred in the night of December 20-21, 2006 near Munkedal , which caused the road to collapse for a distance of about 400 m. 28 people were injured in the accident. The road remained closed for two months on the section that had to be bypassed on poor or very long alternative roads.
