The road branches off from Europaväg 4 in Tönnebro and runs in a north-westerly direction via Skog and further on the south-western shore of Lake Bergviken via Sibo , where Länsväg 272 joins, Bollnäs , where it crosses the Riksväg 50 , known as the Bergslag diagonal , via Arbrå and further on by the lake Orsjön along to Ljusdal , where it crosses Riksväg 84 , further following the eastern shore of Lake Hennan to Östavall am Holmsjön , where Länsväg 315 joins, and finally via Ånge to Europaväg 14 , where it ends.
