The Riksväg 23 is a Swedish highway in County Skåne , Kronoberg County , County Kalmar and Östergötland County , the city of Malmö with the city of Linkoping connecting.

The road runs from Malmö over a distance of around 32 km together with Europaväg 22 via the university town of Lund to the north-east, separates from the motorway-like Europastraße at junction Trafikplats 26 and leads via Höör , where it crosses Riksväg 13 , and Hässleholm , where the Riksväg 21 is crossed, the confluence of the Riksväg 19 north of Broby to Osby . There she crosses Riksväg 15 . In its further course it enters the historic Småland landscape at Älmhult and continues to Växjö , where Riksväg 25 and Riksväg 27 cross. The further course over the intersection with Riksväg 31 at Norrhult and Åseda , the road shares with Riksväg 37 . The roads separate a little east of Åseda, Riksväg 23 continues to the northeast via Virserum to Målilla . There the Riksväg 47 is crossed. The road continues northwards together with Riksväg 34 via Hultsfred , where Länsväg 129 branches off, and Vimmerby , where Riksväg 40 crosses . Between Vimmerby and Kisa the road reaches Östergötland County . In Kisa she crosses Länsväg 134 . Via Rimforsa it continues to Linköping , meets Riksväg 35 and ends at Europaväg 4 .
