The Riksväg 34 is a Swedish highway in County Kalmar and Östergötland County .

The road from Kalmar initially runs together with Europaväg 22 to Ålem , where it separates from the European road that continues near the Baltic Sea coast and runs to Högsby . From there it runs together with Riksväg 37 to Bockara and from there together with Riksväg 47 to Målilla and from there together with Riksväg 23 via Hultsfred and Vimmerby , where the Riksväg 40 is crossed, on via Kisa to Linköping , where the common course with Riksväg 23 ends. From Linköping the road continues to Motala , where it ends at Riksväg 50 ( Bergslag diagonal ) on Vättern .

The length of the road is around 251 km; Of this, however, 187 km are shared with other imperial roads.
