Lippeaue Lipperode - Esbeck

The Lippeaue Lipperode - Esbeck nature reserve is located in the area of the city of Lippstadt in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends east of the core city of Lippstadt and northwest of Esbeck along the Lippe . On the western edge of the area which extends B 55 , north, the country road L 822 and L 636 southeast the north extending the 12.03 ha large protected area (NSG) Margaretensee and 149.65 ha NSG Zachariassee , situated to the west, the NSG Lippeaue (SO-007) .

Since 1966, a 50.46 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Lippstadt under the code number SO-057.
