The 6.5  hectare large nature reserve (NSG) Despite Bach / Good Alpe located in the district Benninghausen in the town of Lippstadt in the district of Soest in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Area description

The NSG with the identification SO-085 includes the stream of the Trotsbach , a left tributary of the Lippe . The area extends east of Gut Alpe from the municipal boundary to Erwitte (district Böckum ) in the south to the NSG Lippeaue in the north. The area lies between the settlement centers of Eickelborn and Benninghausen and touches the grounds of the Westphalian care and support center in the lower course of the stream . The NSG is cut up by the L636, and in the southern area the “Alpmeweg” access road also crosses. A wild garlic beech forest grows along the brook valley .
